Thanks. Honestly the lake seems to have a decent bite on it all season. I feel like there is some pressure on the lake near spring, but otherwise they bite consistently

Nice videos.   Looks like fun.   Does that lake get heavy pressure later once the ice is thicker?  Thinking it may be better to target early ice.

With temperatures in the mid 40s I was able to do lots of hole hopping on the lake this morning. The pan fish were very shallow. I was taking fish at 7 feet of water! Crappie were very aggressive. Some were hitting my Lindy Rattlin spoon on the fall. Fun time!

Day 2 on the ice of Lake Virginia in Carver County Minnesota. Panfish were very fussy eaters today, but I managed to catch a few fun ones using jigs tipped with minnow heads.

First time out ice fishing this year for me!  Lake Virginia is still doing pretty good for being early in the season. The usual spots that kept fish on my line were not so hot this morning, but I did manage to find where the fish were stacked. They were closer to the west shore away from the hole in about 20 fow. I did get a few aggressive crappie strikes from 12-15 fow. Crappie were 10-11 inches. Can't wait for more fishing to come!

Great video, I appreciate you posting.  I might go out this weekend on Lotus or Bryant.  I will take my 6 man house.  Would love to have you join me and my friends and family.  Give me a shout, Hicksie

Beautiful day out! Headed back to my same hole with the wife this afternoon. We got a bunch of small crappies and a Pike. My wife caught the biggest crappie at 10.5 inches.

Got out on the lake from 2 - 4:30pm this afternoon. Ice was ranging from 4-5". Saw a crazy guy out on his atv and pulled his wooden ice house out on it .

Poked about 3 holes until I found the sweet spot. Fished on top of 30fow. Crappies were shooting up from 20fow. Non stop action! One after another these little 8" crappies were slamming my Lindy Rattl'n Flyer Spoon tipped with a minnow head.

I kept marking something in the 16fow range. So I dropped my spoon down to it and started jigging and BAM! She was peeling drag. Caught a nice little Northern Pike. Fun lake. I will be back soon.

Tried a new lake tonight! We found a lot of bluegills and crappies. Occasionally a bass and perch would pop up here and there. Lake is not very deep. We fished in 7 fow. Fun lake.
