Got out for a few hours this morning.  6-8 inches of ice.

Fished the South side of the island in 6-9 feet.  Lots of small perch and sunfish on wax worms.  Searched for the crappies but didn’t find any.

Just bought a house on the lake this summer. Been out fishing a few times in the last couple weeks. Doesn’t look like many people fish Fremont.   Finding a few nice crappie in the deeper (8ft) holes as the temps drop.  Also catch northern pretty regularly dragging spoons and spinners.  Hoping I can keep finding the fish this winter.
