Nice work on the slabs.   Not often you catch a bunch like that from shore, let alone a fishing pier.    Good to hear you got your expensive lure back.

The first time I went to Auburn was the third week of October 2019. I walked out on the fishing pier by the boat launch and saw fish were still in the shallow water in the lily pads. I caught a lot of Crappie with worms and Gulp Minnows. I saw a Northern and a Large mouth, so I put on my favorite Whopper Plopper and cast in toward shore. Soon I was hung up in a tree that was sticking out of the water about 10' out in the lake. After a lot of swearing and jerking on my fishing rod to try to get my lure free, I finally broke the line and kissed that lure good by. Never dreamed I would go back the next day and some HOTTIE in a pair of waders working for Three Rivers Park District wood come by and pluck my Whopper Plopper  out of the tree and give it back to me! I am very grateful to that young lady.... THANK YOU

Great Bass Fishing
