Did my once a year trip to Ann Lake last Sunday. Was impressed, we hit the boat launch, there was 1 boat coming in, and 1 boat in front of us waiting to launch. Boat coming in said they had been out for 4 hours without a bite and were heading home. Boat in front of me said then we are leaving too. I said to my buddies we are here, we are going to fish. We launched at noon, fished till 4:00 did very well. We motored around with trolling motor when we'd get a bite or 2 I'd spot lock for a bit. We caught maybe 60 Crappies on plastics and a minnow, they were deep (for this lake), 15'. We kept fish with several over 10", the biggest going 11 1/4, and the smallest 9 1/4. Fun day on the water.

I fished Ann for the first time ever. Was bummed that the storm rolled through a couple hours before I was going there. Slow drifted a jig with plastics, and a jig with minnow. Caught a bunch of small Crappies 6"-7". The three of us kept 10 Crappies and a couple of Sunnies. The Crappies we kept were all between 9"-10".
