Big Blue Lake has a lot of small pike. The normal limit on pike in Michigan is two per angler, but on this lake the limit is 5 pike because there is so many of them. The average pike are 16" to 24" but bigger pike are in there if you can get them to bite. Release any big pike (over 27" for this lake) so that the average size gets better. Also there are some bass around in the 10" to 15" range, and a good number of bluegills. This is a good place to catch a lot of fish. If you take kids fishing, this is a good place to go to catch a bunch of bluegill.
