Hardwood impoundment

Ice is just over 13" in the 7 holes I drilled. Plenty of people out here on UTVs and several pickups. Bite was sudden at 11 am but off since then. 6 small gills in 15 minutes. Marking fish but they look at everything we've shown them and then back away to the bottom again.

Fair bite on the lake but nearly all panfish too small to keep. Pike are all small as well though some were +20” but nothing noteworthy. Headed to Genes Pond for better sizes.
