8 of us from the Dubuque iowa Mississippi walleye club made the journey to the Detroit river last friday and saturday. Caught most of our fish on chartrusse jigs with spot tail shiners or fin-s plastics. 2 over 29 inches fishing the michigan shoreline above bishops point right in front of the Basf sign down behind the tug boat. 27 to 32 foot the best when the wind was blowing we caught fish in 17 ft. Saturday was slow for us but behind stone island saw a lot of fish caught. Wyondote worms were working there. Brown with metal flake and 1/2oz chartrusse jig. 12 to 14 ft.
