Lake Koshkonong is a 10595 acre lake located in Rock, Dane, Jefferson Counties. It has a maximum depth of 7 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings, public beaches. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye and Catfish. The lake's water clarity is very low.
NOTE: This list may not be all inclusive of all speices present in Lake Koshkonong.
- Hook and line fishing is open all year for fish species except muskellunge, lake sturgeon, trout, paddlefish and threatened or endangered species.
- Motor Trolling is allowed with up to 3 hooks, baits, or lures, per angler.
