Three Mile lake is north of Afton and is great for nice sized bluegill and many crappies as well. The crappie "cycle" should start to be on the upswing in the next few years. I've had much better luck with bluegills on leaches or worms in any of the many small coves in recent trips to Three Mile. We look forward to our annual trip every year. They started in 1998. Crappies we booming then and should be again real soon. Good luck and great fishing!!

This lake has excellent spring and fall crappie fishing. Some real slabs in here. The bass fishing is also outstanding and there are some nice muskies too. This lake has lots of flooded timber so go slow.
