FISHING FORECAST
The fishery at Meadow Lake will provide good fishing in 2019. Largemouth bass from 12- to 17-inches were collected in a 2017 electrofishing sample. Panfish anglers will find a few 8-inch bluegills. In 2018 large (11 to 13 inch) black crappie showed up in fishery surveys which will contribute to the fishery in 2019. Look for spawning crappies and bluegills in May and June on top of the two rock reefs added to the lake in 2009. The channel catfish population is made up of both larger trophy size fish and good numbers of 15-inch fish.(2019)
