At the time of this report ice conditions are beginning to deteriorate. With forecasted rain this weekend anglers need to use caution when venturing out. For information on lakes in Southwest Iowa call the Cold Springs office at (712) 769-2587.

Fishing has been good at Willow. The lake has 10 inches of ice.

Black Crappie - Slow: Early morning and late afternoon is the best time of day to find black crappies at Willow.

Bluegill - Good: Find a tree or brush pile close to the creek channel to catch 8 inch bluegill.

Redear Sunfish - No Report: Willow has a good population of large redear sunfish.

Fishing has been good at Willow. The lake has 10 inches of ice.

Bluegill - Good: Find a tree or brush pile close to the creek channel to catch 8 inch bluegill.
