I had two buddies fish Red Rock on Monday and they brought home 2 limits of crappies. Biggest was 15 in. Minnows under bobbers. To far for me to drive but worth the effort if you can go.

I am new to Lake Red Rock. I am a river rat at heart, growing up on the Des Moines River in South East Iowa and have been chasing walleyes. I know Red Rock is not known for its walleyes, but they have to be here somewhere. I have been out 3 times now, about once a week, with yesterday being my last trip. I have been trolling crank baits, shad raps, husky jerks, and floating rapalas, with a few reef runners mixed in and have not caught one walleye. been up and down the shore near roberts creek. I have caught some nice catfish. caught a 8lber the first trip, and have managed a 5 on each of the last 2 trips, lot of fun on 6lb test, caught some small stripers, and thats it. looking for any tips, advice etc. I live in pella, and looking forward to any info. thank you
