Black Crappie - Fair: Best fishing seems to be early morning around tree piles for 7 to 9 inch black crappie.

Bluegill - Slow: Anglers report catching bluegills drifting and trolling small jigs in 6 to 8 feet of water. Tipping the jigs with berkly or night crawlers helps.

Channel Catfish - Slow: Catfish are being caught on top of the two roadbeds in the lake and around jetty's.

Largemouth Bass - Fair: Anita has a good bass population. Find fish along vegetation edges and around tree piles.

Water clarity is good at Anita and water temperatures are in the mid 70's. Crappies were caught around brush piles.

Black Crappie - Fair: Best fishing seems to be early morning around tree piles and along the two road beds in the lake.

Bluegill - Fair: Anglers report catching bluegills drifting and trolling small jigs in 6 to 8 feet of water. Tipping the jigs with berkly or night crawlers helps.

Bluegills are beginning to be picked up slow trolling. Crappies were caught around brush piles and the road beds. Largemouth bass fishing has been fair.
