Better than average lake! Privately owned shore line and home owners association park with ramp and picnic grounds. There are two marinas, one on the north shore the other on the south shore. Black and spotted bass, Crappie, assorted pan fish, cat fish, carp and bow fin available. Best time is late winter through end of June and then September through November. Shallow lake with silted bottom, weed growth and fallen trees. Docks all around the lake. Written up in magazines as the "Lemon Drop Lake" on account of the fairly large number of bass being taken regularly. Very enjoyable lake to fish and to bring the family!
