Started at 6:45 this morning and had a 33 inch lake trout in the boat at 6:52! Thought it was going to be a great day with that start. Not another bite until after 10 am while trolling for coho, picked up a 35 inch laker and 1 coho. Did manage to find some good marks on the graph while trolling for the coho. Stopped there and managed two more good sized Lakers jigging. Finished with 5 fish all released. Water 42 to 47 degrees fish caught in 30 to 50 feet. Had a big boat running full tilt in the fog this morning coming right at me. I was laying on the horn and he turned away at about 70 yards. Felt like that guy in the fishing boat on caddy shack before Rodney ran him over! Off the lake at 12:30

Yes thanks for posting, just happened to see this by mistake. Haven't bothered to check here. I got out yesterday from Pastrick 8-1 pretty slow. I managed 2-4 Solo. 2 weeks ago quick limit same conditions same baits.
I too wish more people would share their experiences on the great fishing opportunities in Nortwest Indiana. I will be out there in the morning trying again!
Thanks for posting !

Lakers biting well today. Hooked 11 caught 8 with largest at 35.5 inches. Also caught one bonus 4.4 pound whitefish. Fish caught in 32 to 50 feet, all came on vertically jigged blade baits. Fished 7:15 am to about noon. Wish the wind would stay out of the south so I could do it again! Lots of folks trolling for coho and I did see a few caught.
