Not a bad lake to spend the afternoon at, anything from bluegill, bass, crappie and pike can be caught here.. clear clean water most of the time.. great fishing overall

This lake also has walleye, rock bass, and carp in it. The fishing is the best in spring and the water is gin clear so windy days are good. I caught my first 5lb + largemouth of life here and have caught manymore since that in 1998. There are also northern pike but very difficult to catch giant crappies are present. I n summertime split shot and nightcrawler is all that is needed. There is no shade or good cover for the fish here so cloudy, windy days are best.
