Rumor is that the main pump is down I can’t verify that but that’s what I heard and being a state run organization I don’t think it’s going to be fixed anytime soon

The boat launch will remain closed until the lake level comes back up another 2 feet.  It takes a lot of rain for that lake to come up 2 feet.

Lake is still closed to boat traffic. Shore fishing is open untill further notice from the IDNR.

I know the launches are closed not sure if the whole facility is closed due to low water. Might want to check IDNR before you head out. It’s a Great Lake on the boat using artificial lures. I’ve never fished there from the shore. Great sm bass, walleye, Muskie, and crappie

Would like to try some shore fishing but never tried it before. Any suggestions? Type of fishing, bobber, casting, bottom fishing? Bait? Anything suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
