Wonder Lake

Anderson Sir what side of the lake were you on? I usually get on in White Oaks Bay. Hopefully you were not there. 

I drove around to a few beaches today. Each one I checked there was no way to get on the ice. I tried walking out a couple feet to the ice but it broke when I tried to get on it. I saw a couple people fishing but I don’t know how they got on. The shoreline is a mess where I checked. I went home. 

Ok, ok, I’ll go check it out and let y’allz know whats going on out there.

Wonder tuck derby is always a good time!!!

Thermocline has water looking all snotty at the bottom. I saw fish on the camera, but it was like they were sleeping. Didn’t move much at all. Same place for 30 minutes or more. No movement. Ice was plenty thick everywhere I drilled. 8” atleast. Bringing quad out next time.

I was out Thursday morning until 11am and the ice was almost 4 inches off clear ice. We fished the north end and caught a little bit of everything using spikes. A few gills that were 7 inches and a couple crappies that were 9.5, all released. 

So for real now, any ice?
