Five keepers before we had to leave. The bite was starting to get good when we had to leave. Live bait was the ticket. A few were hard hitters.

Fished the mouth of the Pecatonica and Rock rivers from 7am to 1pm on Saturday 11/3/18. Cloudy, wind SE 5-10mph. Air temp 48, water temp 46. We managed 1 walleye 17" on drop shot rig with large fathead minnow. Both rivers still high with fast current. Average depth on the rock from boat launch to mouth of rivers about 8 ft.
sorry not a report.
I am coming to the area july 5,6,7th used to fish this part of the river and up to the dam, way back in the late 80s.
i was hoping to bring my boat but my outboard took a crap, so im boatless.
I also know its not the best time of the year but that cant be helped.
i guess what im getting at is if anyone on here is planning on fishing that area at that time and would be brave(crazy) enough to entertain a stranger, one day i will fish the dam from shore but was hoping to fish the pool one day, but am too old to get there by foot and wade the river as i did when i was a teen. let me know and we can exchange phone numbers, privately of course. and get to know a little about me.
