Yeah I was out there on saturday afternoon and caught a lindy rig someone broke off that still had a minnow on it. That's all the luck I've had so far

Was out both days last weekend caught a small mouth (10 inches) and two small Catfish. Been hitting the dam area close up and down stream a bit more. Water is still pretty cold and bites have been very few. Saw a couple of folks wading and did not see anything caught. Seems like the they bite earlier in Dixon for some reason.... Speechless

Fished for 2 hrs. near the dam last night until 9pm. Caught 1 small cat on the West side and moved to the East side at 8:30. Just grabbed my small spinning rod with a Bright green mister twister and had what looked like a 30" + musky hit it after the 3rd or 4th cast. it stripped out down stream about 40' then back up close to shore. When it was app. 6' in front of me it jumped and spit the lure. Sure looked like vertical stripes to me. Don't believe it was a pike. I just had a light action 6' St.Croix with 6# test and couldn't get a hard hook set. Probably wouldn't have got him in anyway and a "quick release" was fine with me.

Just thought I'd revive this post.

Hello, the only thing I know that you need a permit to fish city parks is for night fishing. There are sighns posted, not really sure where to get them and iam was told that they are not too expensive, $9 or $10 bucks. but there is no camping or camp fires and you must have gas or battery operated lantern on at all times and post permit in window of you car!!!!
