walked the whole lake today. Fish were all deep hanging out on the bottom. drilled about 50 holes. Consistently 5 inches of good clear ice under 2 inches of crappy ice. Lots of water "running" on the ice. Caught 1 bluegill, 3 perch, and 1 crappie. All fish small not even close to eating size. Finicky biting fish alot of lookers on the flasher.

Is anyone aware of ice situation on the lake? Will warm up in few days but not sure if it will be enough to free up the lake if it's frozen over yet.

Tough year at the dump. Follows, missed strikes, even took a swim in a lake trying to set the hook. Finally was able to get one in the net. As always fall and some suckers. Very healthy 43 inches which swam away in a great shape.

I lost a large walleye yesterday at about 8PM. I was using a slip bobber at about 10 Ft off the north fishing pier. I was using a small hook , 6lb line and a leech. It took me into the weeds on broke off.
