Hello all,

I am currently preparing to survey for Mudpuppies (aquatic salamanders) in Fox river for a research project. Fisherman occasionally catch them while ice fishing or catfishing with small bait. Have any of you ever seen them in the Fox river? If so please message me.

Thanks

If you travel exactly 3.71 miles north of the dam and find where the purple painted rock on the west shore intersects with the 7th duck blind on the east shore, you will get into them good.  Only use hotdogs for bait though casting from east to west.  This river, the pike are very particular.  Hopefully some of the other rivers you posted on have less picky fish with more areas that produce.
