Thanks fellas for the info, hopefully this three day warm up will speed things up. Until then, local pond crappies or river walleyes.
no boats on the chain the rivers are closed due to high water!!! i wish people would look these things up before they try to go and get huge fines
The lakes are still covered. You could get a boat in by rt12 bridge. But main lake will still be a while. There is still 5 or 6 good iches. If you could get on it .
How long before we can get the boat out? For those of you living near or driving by how is ice holding up, is it almost gone? Much appreciate your response!

Fished from 9-noon in 5fow on the south end. Marked a lot of fish but could not get them to commit. The water was the color of pea soup! Visibilty was less than 6 inches. Don't know why the discoloration, but hopefully it's not some sort of pollution. Talked to a few other fishermen and they had the same results.

Fished the south end yesterday. Fish were very tight lipped and water was murky in a lot of the holes I popped. Fish were closer to shore 5' and under. Wax worms did the trick nothing on plastic. Kept a few gills and a crappie that I gave to a guy when I left. As usual only a few of the many holes produced fish.
reply to the bite: We had client yesterday and we caught tons of bluegills the crappie and perch came in between. lot of work finding what fish are relating to now, and alot of places there at normally this time of year are ghost towns.
as for the boat... The Boat Yard!
fished from 5'-27 FOW yesterday marked and caught fish throughout the water column.
Looking for someone to do electrical work on my boat any info would be appreciated thanks
