Twobox I believe the deepest spot is 6'.

Anybody know how deep these lakes are or where the deepest spots are?

Anyone fish here in the summer anymore? Or just for short trout and gills through the ice. This is what a hard days fishing is worth at 4 lakes. So many people tell me there isn’t fish in there and I hope they continue to think that. 

Does anyone know if there is safe ice yet?

no fiah, You mentioned Trask Bridge in an earlier post. How deep is the water there? 

Great time with Grandson 1 of 15 crappies and alot of bluegills  waxies on windy side weed edges. and to the fisherman that went in to retrieve his rod and a nice cat great job!!!

Went out yesterday for just an hour.  The water is very murky and getting mossy all around the lake.  Caught two small bass on a rat l trap.  A few guys are still fishing for trout.  Spoke with someone from WCFP and he said they were going to an algicide to the water to help with the bloom and moss. 

Can't wait for the cookout.....always a great time!

fishing has been up and down  you can be there 5hrs or  45 mins   fsh seem to hold on windy sides  my bait of choice has been waxies and dough   waxies on a three way rig #6 gold long shank and rainbow dough #6 chart floating jig   smalll and large fish have been caught. would like opinons about keeping 4 lakes off limit after they stock the lakes . seen alot of guys fishing before the opener  and catch and release but they are stressed or gut hooked  would be better for all and a longer time till the warm warms up tight lines. ??????

Northern Illinois Lake-Linkers our annual cookout is this Sunday afternoon around 1 or 2 P.M.
