I'm gearing up for bow season, but am unsure of how much pressure the Albany Wildlife Area sees during bow season. Anyone here able to give me some insight? I'm used to hunting public lands near Milwaukee, so I'm used to highly pressured areas.
New to Albany, WI. Anyone else hunt out here?
There will be plenty of pressure at times, but I would suspect nothing like what you are used to in the Milwaukee area. Early bow wont be too bad until duck and pheasant opens. Then there will be a little more activity. You are used to hunting pressured areas, so do the same here. Get back in a ways and don't be afraid to get the boots wet. There are some dandy deer in the area. Good luck.
