had a really good year in 2021 I doubt I will ever top this one.

Had some really sweet trail cam pics of this guy and then he showed up late afternoon on opening day.

What are the hunter numbers on that public land, is it heavily pressured or not?

Bucks were not moving, because they were to tired from having all that sex.   

Full moon on opening weekend.  Deer were awake all night feeding and bedded tight during daylight. 

What is it this year?  Too much snow, not enuff, too cold, too warm, too many standing crops, or lack of hunter effort?

Plenty of shots around us Saturday, 75-80.  Only about 20 by noon Sunday, but that wind was killer.

Pulled cameras on our way out, the biggun was in my brother's area as he walked out Saturday morning, and he spooked him out of there.

Lots of shooting around me opening weekend but none by me. Lots of time to go but glad I got meat in the freezer during bow season.

Pretty slow again in Sawyer County, 5 hunters 1 small buck shot, 2 deer seen. Full moon didn't help. I felt like there was more deer sign than in the past couple years. Hopefully this coming weekend will be better. I thought there were more shots Sat. morning than in the past few years but it was real quiet after that

Worst deer season I've been a part of in my 28 years of hunting! Heard only 15 shots all day yesterday and 5 today! Saw one doe yesterday and today, neither came in a shooting lane. Our hunting party of 7 got 1 doe this weekend.  120 acres. 3 bucks were taken during the bow season though.

Saw a number of deer, none of them would give me a good shot. Also had a trophy walk by with no shot. Try again tomorrow
