hello guys, i need help. my then 15 yr old son shot a buck of a lifetime about 15 years ago and i had it mounted for him and it was his pride and joy. sadly, our house was broken into and it along with a fisher i had mounted and some guns were stolen. i never recovered any of it but thru my own detective work and help from some guys on here back then, said they remember that buck being for sale at fast and easy pawn in oshkosh. i called them and they gave me the name and number of who they believe had it and got ahold of him but since then ive lost his info and my son wants his buck back so i'll try again. his name on lake link is safe hunt and i dont believe hes on here anymore? im hoping the administrator on here will be kind enough to msg me his contact info so we can get it back to my son? my cell is 920-221-2838 if anyone can help!

That is a rough story and I really hope you find it. Fifteen years is a long time but a shoulder mount of a nice buck is not something most people just throw away. That guy probably still has it or sold it to someone else. Have you tried searching "safe hunt" on other hunting forums like Michigan Sportsman or Archery Talk? A lot of guys use the same username across multiple sites. Also check Facebook groups for Wisconsin deer hunting or taxidermy pages and post the story with as many details as you remember about the rack. Someone will recognize it. I would not post your phone number publicly like that though, bots scrape these threads. Maybe ask an admin to DM you instead. Good luck man, hope your son gets his buck back.
