Bobcat tags

I have 9 Bobcat points and did not draw a tag. Has anyone drawn a tag with fewer points this year. I trap in Taylor county.

Trapped my first bobcat today. It was an awesome site after being unsuccessful in 2018.

Super stoked to for this years hunt with Spruce River Guide Service. They have a 100% success rate for an opportunity to harvest a bobcat. 

I got a tag in northern zone first season w/ 2 points.  I will try trapping again. I was not successful  trapping one in 2018. Shot one over hounds in 2011.

I trapped all fall without any luck but we got a nice mature male with the dogs! Glad I didn't have to eat tag soup after a 7 year wait to get the tag. 

I got a tag in the southern zone with 7 points. Trapped for 2 weeks without success, hope to lay some more steal soon. 

I have 9 points also and no tag.

10 points and it does not look like I drew a tag.

I also have 9 points. It is usually the end of August when they release the results. I called DNR twice last week and got 2 different answers. The last one said mid-September. 

The Wisconsin bobcat lottery system is the most well-kept secret on the planet. If you ask 10 people how WI bobcat tag lottery system works, you'll likely get 10 different answers. My buddy drew a tag at 13 points last year, and there was another guy hunting with us that had 9 and drew. It's a joke.
