this is it. last year gun season. 19" inside.

Here's mine from a few years ago. Opening day, first light. When I saw him, he was 90 yards away, only saw him because of the snow. He stopped to look at me as I was sitting on the ground. I glanced at his rack, thought he was a basket-rack and shot him. He died with his horns wrapped around a tree (holding his body up) so I thought he was still alive. Didn't realize he had any size until I grabbed one of his horns to pull him off the tree and realized it was a handful, and that was a big tree he was stuck on. I somewhat regret not getting him mounted, but he didn't have real mass to him (like the opening post does). Still nice to look at the rack once in a while.

Hopefully he will be my daughter's biggest... and first... buck soon!
