Safety Tip

Now days there seems to be  a lot more interest in making artificial baits, particularly  in pouring plastic . Here is a safety  tip to consider.

For those new at pouring plastic and use the microwave method, if you continuously reheat and remelt plastic over a long pouring session the Pyrex glass cups do not stand up well to continuous and long periods of high heat. They can shatter. I speak from experience. Better to spend a little extra and invest in measuring cups made from borosilicate glass. They  tolerate  much higher heat over long periods of time and do not shatter like Pyrex can.
