Has anyone gathered any information regarding getting this started. Also we will need to get a list of people who will honestly do the work. I do travel a lot as I am a tournament angler so I am out of town at least 8 days per month starting in April. is there an existing  that was setup for Lake Geneva or are we starting from scratch?

Thanks,Dale Helgeson

I am very interested in volunteering for this also. I understand the DNR will not allow more stocking at this time but can we still get this Chapter of Walleyes For Tomorrow going and start fund raising and banking the money? That way if the DNR changes its mind we cant hit the ground running.

DNR just stocked 108,000+ 7-9 inch walleye. Since 2010 they have put in about a million walleye around that size. That doesn't include what the walleyes for tomorrow did in that time period as well.  There are still plenty of walleye in the lake.

Tiny, the meeting went great. Good turnout and seems like a lot of interest in getting something going but then received bad news the next day. Apparently Geneva is currently in an overstocking program from the DNR and while this is going on they will not allow any extra stocking. So it's sit and wait to see if their stocking is doing enough.

Don’t forget our meeting tonight December 1 at Luckes Cantina in Williams Bay at 6 PM. I hope everyone can make it.

Thanks,

I booked Luckys Cantena in Williams Bay at 6 PM on December 1 for a meeting if you can make it. Food and drinks are available at your expense though.

Anyone interested in being a part of the Walleyes for Tomorrow Chapter for Lake Geneva please email me as I am going to setup a meeting in December with Walleyes for Tomorrow and need to know how many would be willing to meet so I can reserve a room.

Maybe call for a real-live, in-person meeting somewhere, some time soon. Can’t have too many reasons to get out of the house.

Dale,

This is Sam from Fun Fishin’ Guide Service. Call me so I can fill you in on where we are at with the group we got together in the spring. April is the critical month for doing this. My number is 262-758-4439.

I got an idea.  How about Eric Haataja volunteers his time considering the pressure he has brought in the past few years leading to hundreds, maybe thousands of walleyes leaving the lake.

Could we get the last President to show us the ropes? Can Dale contact him?
