I would like to do some late evening fishing for crappie and maybe walleye on some of the lakes in Lake country (Pewaukee lake, Nagawicka, etc), but not sure if the boat landings are lighted and if you can use them after nine or 10 PM. I can’t find anything about closing times for boat landings or how late they are lighted on the county web sites, so maybe someone here knows… If I go to Pewaukee or Nagawicka, are those boat landings open late and lighted? Thanks!

Evening fishing and boat landings
There is No time restraints on Pewaukee. Spend many late hours there. I’ve been pushing for a solar light in Pewaukee’s county launch back parking lot for years. It’s dark in back lot. The good thing is, hopefully the cameras keep the riff RAF out.
I believe Nagawicka has had lights down by piers/ parking for many years.

Loj - I didn't notice a "closing time" or whether the launch was lit up, or how late, on the signs there. Perhaps I overlooked it. I wanted to call the county, but they were closed since it was the weekend. I looked at every web site I could find, including the county web site, but my specific question was not answered. I called Dick Smith's, they weren't sure. I live about 1/2 hour away, so driving down there and back to look at a sign was feasible, but with gas prices and time wasted that was not reasonable to me if someone already knew off the top of their head. But thanks anyway.
On lower gennesse and golden it's 6am to 10 pm. I know guys who have b been ticketed on both for being either to early or out past 10. It is posted at the launch but I've been on okauchee with no problems early or late. But to avoid a ticket I'd call Dick Smith's they should know the rules.
