Any ice in southern Wisconsin?

Was just curious if there is any ice in southern Wisconsin I haven’t been able to get out and check any places out yet this year. Thanks in advance 

Happens every year.  Get a thin layer of ice formed just to get snowed on. 

Checked out a Washington County Lake this morning. Surprised it was frozen, but not safe.Foot went right threw in four places.Snow coming  more bad news.Stinks but oh well,pray it doesn't rain early next week. 

Looking like I'll be on the ice around New Years, possibly a bit sooner. I can wait.

Saw 3 brave souls at Viking today!

I saw 2 crazy people on the ice in the Stoughton ditches on Saturday afternoon as I drove by.  Didn't go by there Sunday to see if anyone was out there yesterday though.

Pearle68 nice link you provided  but that bar graph of Great Lakes ice cover proves my point.There is no winter anymore. 

Anyone heard of the Stoughton ditches have ice yet? I’m going to be checking out some places Friday.  

Lake Erie froze over completely around 2015 and/or16.

Small ponds frozen all over waukesha county.  Likely fishable ice in the smaller kettle lakes by next weekend if the wind stays down at night.

Have same or similar JS... plus a homemade version.... 

I don't use this Rig that much anymore but it still works.

Carpio, I remember there was a bar at the top of the "road" that ended up at the shore just out side of that little bay, when I got cold, Dad would give me a dime or 2, and I hiked up to that bar, and bought a Hershey bar for .10... got warmed up and hiked back to our spot... didn't do a lot of moving around when you had to spud your holes, lol

I also remember laying on the ice and seeing the fish and putting my bait in front of them, Dad laughed at me, but latre , he was doing the same! 

...and no one thought it was child abuse letting a kid walk into a bar on his own, in fact the guys there asked how the fishing was... pretty cool

With all that beer that I’ve consumed since then I’ll outlive you.

NIHSIF.      There were some nice crappies pulled out of there ( PIRATES COVE ) wasn’t there!      I fished that bay in the late 50s….        CARPIO 

I remember  Lake Erie froze completely over on Dec.10 1976. That's  never happening again in future in our lifetimes. Global warming  is so bad your lucky to ice fish there maybe one or two times per decade.
