Walleye fishing & Camping, Boulder Junction WI

Last summer I took a camping trip with my Brittany Spaniel just outside Boulder Junction WI. We got onto a hot lake that produced quite a few eater sized walleye. The temps were great, the fishing pressure low and the shore lunches of fresh walleye under the towering pines back at camp were fantastic. Coffee, campfires & cooperating fish. Can't complain.

Crying shame what's happened to downtown Boulder, so many closed businesses!

Used to be able to fish the morning, shop with wife in afternoon, then back out fishing at night.

Takes about an hour to hit all the remaining shops now...Covid just killed the town
