Out of curiosity does anyone know a ballpark number of what percentage of stocked walleye fry actually reach adulthood (15-17” fish). I’m assuming it’s very low, but does anyone have factual numbers. Thanks

Yeah, stocked walleye fry have a very, very low survival rate.  1% would be exceptionally high but I love it when a body of water has a ridiculous amount of walleye fry dumped into it.  It can really kick start a crappie and/or perch boom if those species exist in those systems.

Lots of good info out there.... Walleye Frye typically less than 1% survive. Fingerlings (4-6") survival rates of 35-60%
