Looking for a walleye good guide ,in the Vilas , Onieda county area. Any good suggestions?

And hopefully you're looking for next year if its walleyes... working with him for several years now allows me to know he is pretty much a musky guide the rest of the season. And he books fast, although calling him, he might be able to get ya a quality guide for this year yet...

Check the Vilas County thread. All it contains are guide posts.
That being said, I fished with Rob Manthei twice a few years ago to learn new lakes. He's an excellent guide. The key to him, though, is asking questions and taking mental notes. He's very focused on the fish, so if you want to know "why" you are fishing like you are, or where you are, you gotta ask.
