Dubuque rigs

River Rats...anyone using Dubuque rigs ? What is your go to on the hook end? Flys, plastics, live bait? Pencil weight or big jigs on the drop?  Thanks

we use DBQs a lot in the fall, pull up stream .2 to .5 mph

1 foot dropper to 1/2 to 1 oz jig w/4-5 inch plastic, 4 ft lead on trailer with usually a no. 2 aberdeen hook with minnow or plastic. options abound for trailer, floater/minnow, fly with or without minnow, small crankbait
