Lets here some good dog stories as well.

Sounds promising. Should be a good 8 days for my young setter.

The drumming report can now be found on WI DNR website, it confirms the earlier report of 41% increase statewide but a larger increase in the north 48%.  I always found the brood survey that is conducted later in the summer and weather conditions (dry/warm weather in June) to be better predictor of the up coming hunting season.   But this is certainly good news!

My wifes father was up at his property in Iron River mi. this past weekend,  said he heard a lot of drumming.

On a side note a friend owns a farm and some adjoining woods released 100 pheasants last year. Apparently about 35 or 40 made it through the winter and have nested . I thought they would've been coyote food.

Not sure what you are finding. Those links don’t result in a drumming report for 2019.

I heard that the 2019 drumming count report is out but I can’t find it. If anyone has seen it and wouldn’t mind posting the link, it would be much appreciated. I heard it was good news, sure hope so!

I’m up in MN this week. Nine inches of snow in the Duluth area. Wow.
