The 2025 Wisconsin stocking list is out. There were a couple of changes in my area.

Can't wait for October.

Been hunting at Blonhaven in Orfordville since 2016. Great club and property. The people working there are friendly and helpful. I went there the first time in January 2016 because my old club was closed due to weather. Had such a great time I bought a membership. Great cover and they release a ton of birds every week. I think Blonhaven is the oldest, continually operating upland club in Wisconsin. Rolling landscape, relaxed environment and they have guides with great dogs if you don’t have your own.

Matter of fact, I was out this morning because I had some meetings cancel.

Thanks for the replies. Look like a road trip is in order. October can't come fast enough when you own a bird dog.

Don't know where you are located, but if you are in Southern Wisconsin,  i would recommend Oasis Hunt Club near New Glarus. Was there yesterday and had a great time.

FiL enjoys the field layout at Hunters Point in Brownsville. Goes there weekly thru February. Been going there for years after the Reg season ends.
Was there yesterday, 4 for 5 for birds put out. Think he prebuys 30 birds, then does 5 bird hunts for the day.

Got out last weekend,  saw tracks no flushes. I'm sure they'll put up a few on our walks.

I want to thank the state stocking program again.  We saw birds and shot a couple.  I'm lucky to live close to several state properties that get birds. The closest and my favorite has been adopted by Pheasants forever , and they've done a wonderful job of opening new trails for year round use. Can't wait till next October.

Anyone make it out at the end of the season?  I wanted to, but was so excited about having ice this early!

I hope everyone had a great season.

would be nice if they would do a late season release on all properties seen how we all pay the same price for our license regardless of were we live.

Abigail this morning. You can see the rooster hunkered down in the grass to the left.

Does anyone know did they do a final stocking this week?  They usually do one more the week after deer season, but been out and havent seen anything since we got all the snow.  Thinking because of the snow they did not throw any more birds out.
