Just got back from a 3-day trip to the northwoods.
Thursday and Friday trials were spectacular. Saturday morning trails were still decent (not quit as good as earlier in the week but still nice,)
No surprise, by Sat afternoon / early evening trails were getting pretty bumpy, as there was lots of folks out enjoying the trails!
Went to Lake Tom, St. Germain, Arbor Vitae, Boulder, and Star / Plum Lake.
Great trip!

Have a close bud sledding up in Vilas, he called me this morning and said the trails are beautiful with no one on them.
I was going to stop at the storage facility on the way up and pick up my sleds, but they're closed on Saturdays unfortunately - darn!
I should have called them yesterday and asked them to get them out of storage.

Are you up here FV?
Went from Sayner up to Presque Isle, through Manitowish, and back home - really a nice trek. Trails were just awesome!
Thursday through Saturday morning the trails were really nice!
Lots and lots of sleds out and about. By Saturday afternoon, was a bumpy ride, so we headed back to the cabin until 6:30 or so - then went back out!
Trails were in really good shape again. Followed a freshly groomed trail (2 full swipes) on 51, 15, and 11. Was just a hoot!
Think we may have to do it again next week!
