Anybody else have any? I also add plain it to cream of pheasant or chicken soup.
White rice takes 10- 20 min. to cook. Brown rice cooks for 45 min. and wild rice close to an hour. I blend long grained brown rice with wild rice but I put the wild rice in water first and the brown in 15 min. later so both are perfect. The casserole dish posted sounds great. Both barley and wild rice are best cooked first before put in soups, etc.
