"Aren't they just miniature hamburgers?" Right away I thought about White Castle, the original slider chain. Had to try some when I saw one and was really disappointed. The 'meat" was cardboard thin. The cooked onions were good but made the sammy a little soggy. A fast food experiment gone wrong. A small burger on a roll at home sounds way better. Better yet, my Dad used to slow cook a ham , then thick slice it and serve on a small split roll with or without a slice of cheese and mustard.
