All of my injection molding is done using aluminum molds. Decided to try one of the cheaper molds made out of composites, lots of detail and it seems to hold up as well as aluminum. Although a release agent is not needed it is recommended as it makes release from the mold much much easier, I use worm oil. Because of all the detail a lot of bleeder holes are used, makes it kind of a pain cleaning off the excess flashings. I just use the oil on one side, that way the bait will stick to one side (channels) and they can be cleaned out with a toothpick. The cost $24 +12.00 shipping. Makes 2 styles each total 4 cavities --- 2" & 2.5" . The down side comes from Europe, take forever to get here, the up up side another pan fish bait that works well.
