prov, That is really cool! We had a redfin pickerel in a 60 gallon tank. It lived for almost a year before it died. It went from about 2.5 inches to about 7 in that time. He was jumping in the tank one night and my boys said that he had hit the cover pretty hard. He must have damaged his swim bladder or some other internal organs. He regurgitated his last meal and was having difficulty staying upright. My son even stayed home from school to try to revive him in a bucket with an aerator running on high and holding him upright, but to no avail. He is gone! Good luck with your twins! Ken K

I know it's not a Muskie, but it is just in the snub nose conversation. My snub nose was also smaller bodied then his compadres. I know in the basses case, he couldn't get his mouth to open all the way so he worked hard on a lot of small stuff. That's the first snub Muskie I think I have ever saw.

Check out this crazy looking fish we landed this fall. I have caught quite a few snubbed nosed fish throughout the years but this one was pretty extreme. Fish seemed to be doing ok. Obviously very thin but it did take a baker shad bait trolled at about 4.5 mph.

Prov would be a lot of fun watching the fish grow throughout the winter. Close as I get to that is stopping in at the local hatchery as watching them grow up their throughout the season. Have fun with the tank.
