Carrying a license

Waiting on DNR reply, thought I might get an answer quicker here.

Do you need to carry a hardcopy of your license in MN, or would a picture of it on your phone suffice?

Yup that's why WI fisherman need a paper copy when fishing boundary waters Go wild card and or picture not good enough. Chippman

That kind of stinks.  They will accept a picture of the receipt, but not a picture of the license.  I bet there is officer discretion there.

Sorry I never got back about this.  They will not accept a picture of the license, but if you have the online receipt and link, that will suffice.....unless you don't have cell service where you are fishing.

Then you're SOL.
