555% trailer sticker increase!!!!

Hi guys /n gals what is going on here in Illinois ware they can jack our tiny 3000lbs and under trailer stickers from $18 to $118dollars!!! I read that people called in and sent petitions about it in October to Springfield but didn't hear anything yet. The bigger trailers that are heavy and actually  have an effect on the roads went up 30% Its getting pretty crazy here with taxes going up everywhere you look .

Think about it there are more 3000pd trailers licensed in the state of Illinois than any other so who would the greater number of trailers @ 555% or the larger trailer that are fewer @33% that why i left Illinois.

Reason why alot of us are thinking of leaving this state.

I live in Wi. and drive truck part time. Have to drive through Chicago a lot. I always think with the amount of traffic paying tolls you guys would not pay any taxes. Guess that is not the Case.

It's true, they are $118. Apparently, our trailers got grouped into an increase that was really meant for larger trailers. There is a group of Representatives that are submitting a Bill to restore the price. Do some research and write an email to your local Representative and ask them to support the Bill. I already did and received 3 replies out of 4. Representative Moylan from the Des Plaines area is a piece of garbage, but that's another story.

If I were you folks, I would head south.

Cyber Drive Illinois website still shows $18. Not sure where that info came from.

Talked with a few buddies about this. This state is so messed up. What a f&%$@ing joke. Will be out of here soon. This governor and all before have turned this state into a black hole that sucks the money from you.
