I am looking for another rod before the weekend for Jigging Rapala's in deeper water that has more sensitivity than my current rods. The Rap sizes are #5 and #7 and I was thinking of a rod that is under 30".

Any recommendations for rods that might be at Fleet or Scheel's? Possibly even a combo.

I picked up two Fenwick Aetos Medium 28” rods this season (actually 3, but one is swimming around with a sturgeon somewhere in Poygan). I paired them with Toca Cetus SS500 reels, one with 5lb Power Pro For Raps and the other with 6lb mono for spoons. Both rods very well.

I loved Shimano Sedona 500s, but they are no longer made. The Sierra series would also be a good substitute and they are $20-30 cheaper than the Tica reels. I have two (deadstick and panny rod) and they are also very nice.

I kow you said under 30".  I piclked up two 13 Rods this year, one is a ML the other is a M.  Don't recall the model, but they are 32", awesome rods. I like the M for Jigging Raps.
