Junked my old patched up, mouse eaten, Frankenstein hub. First flip over. No hyfax or tow bar....yet. Curious how you guys modify your set up.

I have 4 major mods to my one man flip over.  First, before assembly I painted the tub white so I can see it at night time.($7 for Krylon Fusion) 2nd, I put cross country skis on the bottom for easier pulling($2 at a yard sale).  Third, I purchased LED Strip Lights (E Bay $11 for 15 feet) I zip tied them to the frame and run them on a 12v flasher battery.  No more lantern. And lastly, I used industrial strength velcro to attach Reflectix insulation to the back and ceiling since it is not a thermal tent.  ($8 for velcro and insulation was already purchased for another project so no extra cost) All those easy changes were easy and cost less than $30...

I too was rewarded with a mouse chewed cover that I put several pouches of Fresh Cab in before storing away.  Just bought me a Shappell XF100 and here is what I added. I had a folding stadium seat that has spring loaded clamps to fasten it to the wood bench seat. Screwed two 2x4 blocks to the bottom to make it more stable. It has a flap that drops down with pockets to put hemostat, waxies, etc. in.

I bet used skis can be a lot cheaper than the $50 for a hyfax kit. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the ideas!

I don't have pictures, but I added compartments to my sled with foam inserts to hold my heater, propane tank, tackle box etc.  This way things are not bouncing around as you speed across the lake with a sled or wheeler.

I added the tip sections of a pair of no wax XC skis to the bottom of my Clam Scout TC. Doing so made it much easier to pull, as the shape of the tub plowed too much in deeper snow. Also removed the tow rope and replaced it with a longer one that would allow a cross body/ hands free placement of the tow rope.

I also added a rod holder( bucket clip on) mounted on a dowel that slips into a couple of pipe straps. I don't use it for a dead stick, but rather for re rigging. Beats rod on ice or in lap.
