Do any of you ice fisherman, have any ideas, on how to stop pilot light from blowing out when in portable shanty?

Thanks for any help, or ideas.

I’m not sure where I’ve seen it on here but yes that has been discussed before. I have not had to personally do anything to mine but what I remember reading was they put some kind of thin metal piece on the wire gaurd in front of the pilot light. I would try maybe even tinfoil to start with experiment and find what works then you could fabricat something more permanent if you’d like.

Hope this helps

How do you position shanty with respect to wind and where does heater sit?   If back is to wind and heater in front of you, it should not blow out until you move shanty
