Lost: white bucket w/ two tip ups, 3 jig poles, hole skimmer, and plastic lure case. Somewhere from Calumetville (Artesian launch), south bound on 151, then southbound 41 to hwy 28 exit. I have a feeling it flew out of the back of the truck. Didn't realize it til I got home and back tracked and didn't see anything! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

AMEN! Cold Front It's hard to believe that a page and a half of this useful post was wasted on such silly posts. I hope the moderaters of this site will dump my post and all the posts that don't relate to the actual topic. Time to let it go and spend your energy on something that actually helps someone involved in our great sport.

Be safe out there

Funny how some are so quick to blame others for what they themselves are guilty of....

While it is unlikely that I would ever lose something as big as a tent or an auger, crap does just happen. Things bounce out of sleds or come off the back of trucks and wheelers. It is not as simple as just looking around every few feet. Sometimes that is just not possible. People have bad stuff happen to them all the time. It happens even more often on the ice because the conditions often are tough and the cold, tiredness and yes maybe a little alcohol. The point is that even though we may have a private moment of thinking that this shouldn't have happened, we leave it at that. This site is about helping out our fellow sportsman. If they left something out there, I think they already know that they screwed up. Nothing is gained by pointing out that they should have done something differently. We threw the flag for piling on. That was unnecessary and probably not appreciated. Mrt./

Or when you are walking look up from your phone for a minute and turn your head. I don't get it either, you would think when after a few steps your sled gets 25 pounds lighter you would notice it.
